Having celebrated her 40th birthday in April by staging her second solo concert and releasing a second album, both titled [Cinnabar Rouge], Janet Lee comes home to No Black Tie to deliver her stories of a girl who never felt entirely grown up. Accompanying her is her long time collaborator WVC - Malaysian Jazz Ensemble.

The songbook of the evening will be a wildly eclectic collage of bilingual original songs from Lee's two albums (Restless Heart in 2015 and Cinnabar Rouge in 2017), tunes recently staged at her concert, beautiful classics of Chinese and Malay oldies in new arrangements, American songbook standards that tell her stories.

Let them play on, in an intimate and entertaining journey of the 40-year-old young lady named Janet - a dreamer, a grown-child, a crooner, an entertainer, a showgirl and a singer.
