Beverly Matujal is a folk-pop singer/songwriter born and raised in Sabah. She is an avid observer of life, love and just about anything that matters to the human soul. Because of this, she weaves her observations into songs that capture audiences alike.
Beverly currently resides in Kuala Lumpur and is an active performer in the indie music scene. She has performed on various stages and events including the 2016 Penang Island Jazz Festival, Surf and Music Festival at the Tip of Borneo and most recently, the 2017 Sabah Tourism Awards Night.
Her debut EP, a five-track record called ‘Echoes’, was launched in August 2017 and can now be found on Spotify, Apple Music and other online platforms. Earlier this year, a song from the EP (‘Compass’) was selected as a semi-finalist in the International Songwriting Competition.
