With the intention to promote Cuban culture, Havana Social Club is a Cuban and Latin American ensemble that was formed by percussionist, Pablo Calzado, six years ago. The group was brought together as a tribute to Buena Vista Social Club that has been a very important pulse to the international audience in getting to know the Cuban music, so they’re no stranger to bringing on the groove.
Havana Social Club has been performing in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur at venues such as The Sultan Jazz Club, Publika Jazz Festival 2013 (KL), Singapore Jazz Festival 2014 & 2016, among others.
