Formed in 2016 by pianist Tengku Indra, New Village Music Lab takes inspiration from Postmodern Jukebox to bring their own twist to evergreen songs with the aim to boost people’s interest in classic and modern jazz. Initially starting as a three-piece band, Tengku Indra got the idea to pull in more members in July 2016. NVML collaborates with local artists as a way of creating a platform for new faces to showcase their talent.
